PROJECT
Evolve Rentals is a growing force in New Zealand’s rental car space, offering an affordable and eco-conscious way to explore Aotearoa.
They came to us with a vision to completely reimagine their online booking experience, not just to improve conversion, but to reflect the freedom and simplicity that sits at the heart of their brand.
We partnered with their team to redesign their website and digital booking flow, making it easier for travellers to search, compare, and book the right rental for their trip.
Objective
Streamline the Booking Experience Across Devices
Evolve needed a website and booking system that was intuitive, trustworthy, and fast, especially for users on mobile who were booking on the go. Our goal was to simplify the user journey while still offering all the necessary functionality and flexibility.

Balance Elegance and Accessibility in Design
Evolve’s new website was designed with a user-first mindset, focusing on clean, uncluttered layouts that prioritised clarity and ease of use. A consistent component structure ensured a seamless experience across mobile and desktop, while clear hierarchy and typography guided users through search and checkout. Friendly tone and visual cues helped build trust with new customers, and subtle details like progressive disclosure and iconography kept users feeling confident at every step of the booking journey.

Evolve’s new website was designed to be accessible to a wide range of users, including those booking on mobile, in unfamiliar locations, or with limited tech confidence.
